Hospice services are focused on the quality of life for you and your loved ones. With Haven, there’s a whole team behind you and your family to help you meet your goals and needs. We provide counseling and support to enrich your relationships and get you back to doing the activities that bring you joy. Our services are fully funded by Medicare/Medicaid and covered by many private insurance companies.

“Our experience with Haven Hospice was wonderful. My dad passed away 4 days after being admitted into Haven Hospice. Even so, by this time, we had the nurse and chaplain both come to see Dad. I had also heard from the aide and had an appointment, as well as the social worker. When Dad passed away, I immediately called Haven Hospice and quickly heard back from the nurse. This was at 10:30 at night. She came promptly and was very caring and professional. She took care of all the details of contacting the funeral home, which in our case what out of state, as well as the mortuary. This was a tremendous burden lifted off of us! I was working full-time and trying to care for my father at the same time. I was unsure if I was doing all I could and stressed about getting him to doctor appointments. Haven Hospice has relieved a lot of that stress. The nurse comes by once or twice a week and checks on Dad. She coordinates with his doctor and has become the doctor’s ears and eyes and has removed the need to take Dad into a doctor’s office. Hospice also provides medication as needed. Prescriptions are delivered right to our home at no expense to us! Haven Hospice has made a real difference not only to my father’s quality of life, but to mine also! Hospice with Haven
At Haven, our team deeply cares about each of our patients and their families. Alongside personalized care for the patient, we also offer support services and counseling to the patient’s family as well. Our bereavement services last for 13 months after passing, so that we can help with every “first” after a loved one’s passing. Hospice is a time of transition and we want to be there to support you every step of the way. We are owned and operated by clinicians who have experience in home care. Our goal is always to improve the quality of life for our clients and our families.
What if?
There is a lot of misunderstanding around hospice care. Our goal at Haven is to give people the best possible care, and part of that is making sure patients know what their choices are. Most people come to hospice services too late. While the conversation can be difficult to have, hospice care is simply about changing the focus of care from length of life to quality of life.

Interested in volunteering with our hospice team? At Haven, our volunteers work with a clinical team of a doctor, nurse, aide, chaplain, and social worker. We have a variety of volunteer roles available.
